Game Released, and Patched!

Earlier this week, Al Eufrasio decided to make this little action game that we've been working on in our spare time public! Since then we've gotten more feedback and eyes on the game and the source code than expected. Two major bugs have been identified and squashed; Al is busy working on cleaning up and adding new animations, and I'm looking into doing some refactoring of the code.

The story behind this game is simple: I met Al working on [Hero-U: Rogue to Redemption](http://hero-u.com), and we wanted to experiment with making a game together. Al put together a design document, I prototyped it, we added art. The project more or less fizzled out (the last substantive commit before this week was in 2020). Earlier this year I was digging through my archives and showed it to my partner, who liked the mechanic and thought that we should at least show off what we have and maybe use it as a portfolio piece. So we put a logo on it and I put it up on itch.io. More eyes on the project == more incentive to fix things and polish it! But at this moment this is very much an abandoned prototype that we're showing off our friends, not a Real Released Game.

I'm not expecting this game to take off or make us any money, but I'm hoping it'll be something my friends like playing, and that by showing the less glamorous parts of indiegamedev to the public, maybe other devs can learn from our experience. :)

Let us know what you think!
