Chosen One (AdventureJam 2020)

A simple orphan girl learns that she is the Chosen One, the only one who can wield the three Rods of Power and defeat the forces of darkness. She must prepare for a journey to leave her home forever. But are things really what they seem?

My contribution to #AdvJam2020. I used the rules for Ludum Dare's "hard mode" (all content-- art, music, dialogue, and sound-- was created within the timeframe of the jam).

Features:

- Moody grayscale landscapes, with full-color pixel art characters. 

- A classic Sierra-style interface, without those silly modern conveniences like hotspots and tooltips.

- No deaths!

- Lots of programmer art and programmer music.

- No actual programming involved!

- An epic storyline with a not-so-epic ending
